Place of birth and current location
What can I say? Born in the end of 70ies in Munich, lived there for almost two years, before we moved to Karlsruhe in October of 1979.
Munich always was my preferred location. I used to have good contact to my grandmother, who lived in Munich, as well as my aunt and uncle. I visited them very often. We celebrated Christmas together with them, the whole family. But soccer (FC Bayern) often made me visiting Munich, as well.
During my time in Karlsruhe, the wish always existed, to return to Munich ASAP. In early May 2014, the wish came true, after getting a job there. Since then, I live in the house, where my grandmother used to live. In a wounderful room in the souterrain.
I love the “bavarian way of life”, that is what always wanted me living here. Those, who don’t know, what “bavarian way of life” means: Sitting in a beer garden, late in the afternoon on a beautiful Summer day, having a “Mass” of Munich “Weißbier”, sitting on a table with foreigners and talking to them, enjoying the sun. That is why I love Munich that much.
