Town of my training
Famous Heidelberg… Americans often mention this city first, when being asked to name a German city. Unfortunately, I never felt like home there, although I stayed there for two years. I made a training as “Staatlich anerkannter Wirtschaftsinformatiker” (translation: business processing and computing expert) there. I first stayed at a room in 13th floor, with a fantastic view over the city of Heidelberg. Later, I moved to another room.
During the week I stayed in Heidelberg, but every weekend, I made my way home to Karlsruhe. I got to know some friends there; to some of them I still stay in contact. But the city itself was nothing that made me regretting to leave.
