Old books: My library “Altes Buch”

A great hobby of mine is collecting old books. What I consider as “old books” are books with an edition date before 1800, or, even better: before 1700. Some books I own are from 16th century, most of them from 17th and 18th century. I even own some manuscripts that are earlier than 19th century, as well. Mostly, I buy these books from antiquarians. So, some of them are quite expensive. I try to digitise them, if the content pages are not that much, or they are important for me.

Meanwhile, I have got a real “library” that is worth more than EUR 20,000. I call that library “Altes Buch”, which means “antique book”. This has become a real trademark. I have got my own homepage, that is available in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish. You can find my [printed] books listed on that homepage at « KATALOG.ALTES-BUCH.DE ».

I even did some researches in that library of which I wrote some reports that are written on my Homepage “Altes Buch”: [Link].
